Ranked in the top 100 course in Britain and Ireland Addington Golf Club is located just 13 miles from the centre of London. Designed in 1912 by Frederick Abercromby it benefits from it’s ideal site which allow the fairways to wonder through mature pine and birch trees whilst still providing a number of inviting views of the capital city.\r\n\r\nThe course really comes to life once players reach the par 4 6th but it isn’t until the 230 yard par 3 13th hole and the par 5 16th hole that golfers reach the courses most renowned holes. The 13th was described by acclaimed golf writer Henry Longhurst as ‘with the exception of the fifth at Pine Valley, near Philadelphia, the greatest one-shot hole in inland golf’. Whilst the 16th hole is also included in his all time great golf holes.\r\n\r\nThe immaculately kept and beautiful scenery of the Addington Golf Club course makes it a hidden gem that every golfer will want to play and return to time and again.
