Featherbed Lane, Addington, Croydon, Surrey, CR0 9AA
Addington Court Golf Club host 3 golf courses, two 18 hole courses and a 9 hole course. Constructed as the first purpose built public course in England Addington Court Golf Centre is now under the ownership of Crown Golf and is recognised as one of the more comprehensive golf facilities in the South of England.
Measuring 5,599 yards from the longest tees The Championship Course at Addington Court Golf Centre incorporates well placed hazards meaning golfers need to apply some thought to their game throughout the round of 18 holes. Good course management and accuracy off the tee are both important factors in scoring well on a course which provides a good and fair test for all golfing abilities.
The Falconwood Course at Addington was added during the 1970 and sits more towards the top of the hill than The Championship Course which brings the changing winds more in to play. With a more accomodating layout the course is slightly more generous than its older brother whilst still providing an enjoyable experiece for golfers.
The 9 hole academy course provides a mixture of par 3 and par 4 holes which are great for honing your skills. The slopes and mouldings which have been incorporated in to the course mean it should not be under estimated and will certainly help golfers develop a soft touch around the greens.
