Overview of Aberdour Golf Club

Aberdour Golf Club is a beautiful 18 hole golf course that begins with the unusual layout of two par 3s, the first of which provides a particularly spectactualr view, after which the course lengthens out and takes on its parland nature. A good portion of the course lay along the banks of the River Forth with holes providing ample room to accommodate the odd wayward shot however the rewards are still there for the straighter and longer hitter. Running along the Forth River Aberdour Golf Course provides some stunning views and scenery across the Forth towards Edinburgh Castle and Arthur’s Seat.\r\n\r\nEstablished in 1896 the course has been utilised for the Scottish Under 14’s Championship, The LGU Ladies Coronation Foursomes Area Final, The Roselle Pro-AM and was voted the forth best golfing experience in Scotland by the readers of Bunkered magazine.
